Hey Tom. Love the release. Thanks for keeping me up to date on all meaningful things GREEN.
I too love my Tone Tubby speakers. I've got the Bomb configuration in my "64 Fender Vibro Verb. No comparison to anything else I've ever used. I'd like to have my 4x12 Marshall cab and 4x10 Super Reverb loaded with them..someday...someday.

I've got a new video up on Youtube. Go there and search:

Just was wanting to let you know that I am totally amazed by the tone from the 8" Alinco I purchased. Can not believe the sound from my little Vibro Champ amp. I use it for the church band & the sound guy was asounded by the tone & fullness of it. Great stuff. I am wanting 12" one for my Rivera 40W amp

Just purchased a 10" San Rafael -loaded into a Fender Super champ XD- Wow. I've tried three different Jensens in a effort to warm up the tone. The Tone Tubby rocks!!! My search is over.

My H-bomb sounds great with everything I have used to play through it.
People stop by the stage saying the guitar needs to be louder. Cracks me up, usually it's turn down, the guitar is to loud.
The first day I received  the 1x12 Alnico, I played my Dr. Z  Route 66 with a VanAmps SoulMate Reverb unit great tones from the Tone TuBBy. Then yesterday I played my Dr. Z Z-28 dry, once again great tone from the Tone TuBBy. The instruments used, were a PRS  all Mahogany McCarty with McCarty pick-ups and the Smokeburst McCarty with the '57/'08 pick-ups. Today, my
1982 '52RI with Joe Barden pick-ups will be singing through the Tone TuBBy, along with a G&L or two. The amp will be a Carvin X100B, I expect the same results, great tone.

Thanks for the recessed handles on the 1x12 Alnico. They make it easier for me to lift and carry.

Tone TuBBy is my speaker of choice.

Can't wait to hear it–I had a bandmate with an alnico 12" in a 18 watt deluxe mojo kit amp, sounded unbelievable. were gonna try and squeeze this baby into a pimped out vibro-champ...

I just have to thank you, this speaker is absolute magic, profound harmonics resolution, I am very grateful indeed. The sound has never been this good before, it's a whole new tone thing.

Thanks man, you got awesome speakers, i think i may need another 2 tens at 16 ohms alnico.  whats the price for the boston berklee student?? lol
Chris

I just get the package and what can I say.
I am wery satisfied with tone tubby speakers. I dont have to use attenuators, pedals ... couse finally I am not to loud when I open my jtm45.

Thanx again and I hope many more people will hear obout your speakers and save their ears : )

All the best from Ljubljana....   Janez

The 8" alnico speaker is fantastik!
I love the vintage Jensen style basket and look.
Sounds much better than my previous 8" speaker for my 1 Watt Muddy Byddy amp.
Now ALL of my amps use hemp cone speakers and sound better because of it !

I also tried the ceramic 8" speaker you sent me earlier, but I prefer the Alnico version, even for distortion sounds.

Thank You,
Chris

Just a quick one, but I wanted to give you immediate feedback. The 8" Alnico arrive today and on getting home immediately soldered up the leads and installed the speaker.

Good god man, this thing is wonderful! The tonal characteristics are well within the original Fender speaker (Jensen) sound, but better.  I've  got "that tone" back, the one that the Weber Signature Alnico was lacking, but it's more musical than the original. Although I usually play pretty clean, breakup is smooth and great when I go there, and the harmonics, they're shining through. What a great speaker, you've got a winner here, just waiting for it to break in to really hear the subtleties. I am delighted.

The setup is my favorite for recording:
'65 Vibro Champ (all original)
NOS Blackplate RCA all around, with long plate 12ax7 Custom guitar with Seymour Duncan Antiquity Surfs Lee Jackson Mr. Springgy

Now that's a righteous sound!

Deepest respect and gratitude,

Samantha L.

Your 8" ceramic speaker turned my little Korean-made Vox Cambridge 15 into a
world-class amp. I tried alternatives, but they both sounded sounded like mud with an
ice-pick treble thrown on top. When I put the Tubby in I couldn't believe
what I was hearing. The treble is sweet, crisp and rounded off perfectly,
no harshness at all. The bass response is tougher and ballsier than any 1x8
I've heard anywhere, anytime. No matter how I set the dials, I can not dial
up a bad tone with this amp. Who would have guessed that the speaker alone
could make THIS much difference? But it really does. Thank you!

I use an HBOMB Configuration (Anico and Ceramic) with my Soldano SLO-100 and the sound is AMAZING. With this set up and my strat, i guet some amazing vintage tones, along with some awesome crunch. The spakers are extremely versatile and are the warmest/smoothest speakers ever. They were a great improvement from the Vintage 30's i was using. They rounded my tone and got rid of the harsh pitched highs. Tone Tubby also has GREAT customer service, where you can actually speak to a human being.

The JBL D130 that you reconed for me is a mother of a bad ass speaker! I have it installed in a Mojo cabinet that doesn't do the speaker enough justice. The cabinets i'm getting will be amazing... when all is said and done i'll send a photo of the finished products. Anyway, the speaker is amazing.

Wanted to say thanks to everyone at ABS! I had my speakers repaired about a montha ago - they sound great and I appreciate iyour time and effort in repairing them.

To Everyone at ABS. Thanks for all the hard work and everyone at ABS on the extraordinary job you had done on my Rivera M60 112. I knew that Rivera had a good reputation but the sound quality of the amp prior to bringing it to ABS was good but in general uninspired and for the most part harsh. Obviously having the amp biased correctly and replacing three suspect 12AX7 tubes helped but that wouldn't have addressed the pronounced mid range honk from the stock speaker. The new Tone Tubby 12" HIE 8 adds a lot more complexity and warmth to the amp (the clean channel is now set to emulate a tone that Bob Wills would be dang proud of) and with the gain channel it will go from "Beano" to ballistic with a couple tugs of the eq boosts.
Man, I've been playing heavy rock for twenty five years and this is now the thickest, heaviest, meanest, gain tone I think I've heard. I can't believe it's all coming out of an open back 1 12 cab.
I knew that dropping in a top dollar speaker in my amp was a gamble but I whole heatedly think that the gamble had payed off. Sure, the repair bill was quite a bit of money but when compared to the cost of a new domestically made amp the total was a third less than what I was looking at as a replacement amp.Again, thank you so much for your hard work, your
professionalism, and your courtesy.
