Good day to you. The JBL D130 that you reconed for me (#2 in development sequence) is a mother of a bad ass speaker!! I have it installed in a Mojo cabinet that does not do the speaker enough justice. I am having Cas Azera from Tone-Tools in Sarasota (http://www.tone-tools.com/) construct for me two cabinets one for the E120 12” that you reconed and one for the 15”. The cabinets will be amazing! When all is said and done I’ll send a photo of the finished products.
Anyway, the speaker is amazing.

Thanks for all of your hard work and every one at A Brown Soun on the extraordinary job you had
done on my Rivera M60 112. I knew that Rivera had a good reputation but the sound quality of the amp prior to bringing it to A Brown Soun was good but in general uninspired and for the most part harsh. Obviously having the amp biased correctly and replacing three suspect 12AX7 tubes helped but that wouldn't have addressed the pronounced mid range honk from the stock speaker. The new Tone Tubby 12" HIE 8 adds a lot more complexity and warmth to the amp (the clean channel is now set to emulate a tone that Bob Wills would be dang proud of) and with the gain channel it will go from "Beano" to ballistic with a couple tugs of the eq boosts.

Man, I've been playing heavy rock for twenty five years and this is now the thickest, heaviest, meanest, gain tone I think I've heard. I can't believe it's all coming out of an open back 1 12 cab.

I knew that dropping in a top dollar speaker in my amp was a gamble but I whole heatedly think that the gamble had payed off. Sure, the repair bill was quite a bit of money but when compared to the cost of a new domestically made amp the total was a third less than what I was looking at as a replacement amp.

I got my JBL L150A's back from you last Friday, but it wasn't until
yesterday that I got them set up. You guys did a great job!! My
21-year-old JBLs are kickin' again as well as they ever have. I had to
go out and spend $100 on new CDs, they sounded so good.

You guys did a righteous job on putting a very complicated speaker up and
running again. I thought my Velodyne 15" sub with its servo wires attached to
the outer cone and electronics attatched to the inner cone were going to
present some problems for you. I thought wrong.

I just wanted to take this moment to thank you for the work your company performed on my vintage ESS AMT-q speakers. I was almost ready to replace them when I was referred to your company to have the woofer cones re-foamed. They sound as great as they did when they were new, and they just don't seem to make speakers like that anymore. Even the wonderful, heavy walnut cabinet can no longer be found in today's speakers. Your price was extremely fair, and your courtesy was exemplary. I will recommend you to anyone needing speaker work.
