I
gleefully received my Hemp coned Vintage 30 today. I immediately installed
it in my Crate combo amp along with a Jensen 50 watt 16ohm. I had read
that Tone Tubby's required breaking in but I can't imagine it sounding
any more fantastic than it already does!! The clean tones alone rang well
above the Jensen and, it ate all the even/odd order harmonic distortion
I threw at it. I Can hardly wait to play live using your speakers (Opening
for "The Tubes"in a few weeks) my band mates might think I've
modded my amp or found a new religion which, in a way.. I have!!
Many thanks, from Southside Freddy |

Hey
Guys, Just
a note to say the Hempcone V30 is monsterous! I had 2 in an old Orange
4x12, and they pushed alot of low-mid and kinda overpowered the Weber
Silver Bells sharing the cab with them. This time I put one in a 2x12
with a Weber Silver and WOW!!! It's in the upper chamber of a half-back
2x12 that's basically half-open.
The tone of this cab is utterly beautiful. I'm mic'ing the Hemp V30, BTW, for gigs and can't wait to record with it! This cab may rival any 4x12 I've ever had for shear beauty in the midrange. Enough on top to be articulate, but not harsh at all. This is 'the stuff' man. I'm going to get one more Hemp V30 and just put one back in the Orange, too. I want to be able to mic a Hempcone in that cab too. Putting just one in ought to do it. I'll be calling ya' Cheers, Noel. Sunnyvale, CA |

Greetings
one & all @ Brown Soun! Just wanted to express thanks for hemp-reconing
those Mesa Boogie Celestion Vintage 30s! Hemp cones release that alnico
alchemy Celestion's engineers originally designed into V30s, whilst
eliminating that paper-coned
stridency! Installed inside Line 6 Spider II 30 & Peavey Transformer
112 amps, those hemp-coned V30s enrich both modeling amps' digitally-enhanced
sonic shadings with more analog warmth than was possible from either's
stock speaker! In hi-fi mode, hemp-coned V30s elicit gloriously sound-staged
hi-end vintage vibes from Sansui's 9090 & Sony's STR-6800SD receivers!
Hemp-coned V-30s give solid-state amps retro-tube tonality, without
a valve unit's inherent thermionic headaches! Heartfelt thanks
once again from Sactown Ed !!!
