I am a solid supporter of Tone Tubbies, I got my first set 3 years back, and now have two sets, 10's and 12's.

The speakers are super responsive, and clear. They sound great with what ever head I use, be it Marshall, Bad Cat..ect

I will be a Tone Tubby player forever more..(ps: playing for over 30 yrs now).

In fact, what is suprising is they sound better then the premium speakers I originally had, ie: JBL, EV, ect.

You get a LOT more speaker for the money,,,in the guitar world.

I have two bass cabs: 2x10 w/horn and a 1X15.  I LOVE the tone.  I get so many compliments from fellow musicians about the sound.  I also never had a break in period.  They sounded great out of the box.  I heard other reviews about the break in period but I never expierenced this.  You cabs are great.  I finally feel confident I have the right stuff!

Message: I needed speakers for my Fender Super Reverb (with 2- 2x10 cabinets) After trying several other brands with no real Fender tone and wasting a bit of money, I went to A Brown Soun and John sold me 2 10" ceramic TONE TUBBY speakers. I told him I would be back in 2 weeks for 2 alnico TONE TUBBIES . When I installed the ceramic Tubbies I immediately Loved them...The Warmth made me happy. the tone surpassed all of my expectations, all of the amp and guitar comes through and sounds so big. I couldn't wait 2 weeks so I went back the next week to get the alnicos. The sound of the alnicos IS DOWNRIGHT PRETTY.Tube tone that I only dreamed about. John told me I was going to be spoiled by these speakers...that was an understatement. I have never been this happy about any other speakers. Unbelieveable!

I have two of the 10" ceramics in my '65 tremolux amp and the 12" alnico in my Dr.Z MazSr. Both types sound great and I highly recommend your speakers to anyone looking for a full rich warm tone that will put a smile on your face when you play. The alnico's are well worth the extra bucks but I love the ceramics too. These are some great speaks!

Hi guys,

I received my Tone tubbys (Ceramic 12" 8-ohm H1E Hempcone and AlNiCo 12" H1E Hempcone) from  South Valley Vintage Amps on Friday and I have a big problem. I can't stop playing, after years of swapping gear, speakers and whatnot I have found my sound. Just for reference I use a Soldano HR 50+ and open back 2x12 Soldano cab, I play with a standard les paul w/ emg 85 and 60a pu's. The tone is outstanding! My style falls somewhere in the lines of Black Crows and KWS. Very round and defined with overtones I've never heard before. I have logged 8 hours of play time in less than 24 hours and can not believe it. Anyway I think this is a great product and God bless America!
